Master of the universe, Who reigned before any form was created, At the time when His will brought all into being, then as King was His Name proclaimed. Ater all has ceased to be, He, the Awesome One, will reign alone. It is He Who was, He Who is, and He Who shall remain, in splendor. He is One, there is no second to compare to Him, to declare as His equal. Without beginning, without conclusion, His is the power and dominion. He is my G-d, my living Redeemer, Rock of my pain in time of distress. He is my banner, a refuge for me, the portion in my cup on the day I call. Into His hand I shall entrust my spirit when I go to sleep and I shall awaken. With my spirit shall my body remain. Hashem is with me, I shall not fear.

An evening fragrant with roses. Let us go out to the orchard. Myrrh, spices and frankincense shall be as a threshold for your feet. The night comes upon us slowly and a breeze of roses is blowing. Let me whisper a song to you quietly, a song of love. It is dawn, a dove is cooing. Your hair is filled with dew. Your lips are like a rose of the morning. I'll pick it for myself.

Next year we will sit on the porch and count the migrating birds. Children on vacation will play catch between the house and the fields. You will see how good it will be next year. Red grapes will ripen till the evening and will be served chilled to the table. And languid winds will carry to the crossroads old newspapers and a cloud.

In raging battle we defend you, for times of peace we strive
Inside the walls of your Old City, our people come alive

Mountain air as clear as wine and the scent of pine, borne on the evening wind with the sound of bells. And in the slumber of trees and stone, imprisoned in her dream is the city which dwells alone, a wall within her heart. Jerusalem of gold, of copper and of light, behold I am a harp for all your songs.
